Wheel of Misfortune is an open-source role-playing game for training on-call engineers on simulated outage scenarios. A game master walks a volunteer trainee through a fictional or past incident while the group discusses debugging steps, incident protocol, and communication. It runs locally as a small web app with custom, JSON-defined scenarios, and is aimed at engineering teams training new or existing on-call staff.
