Verilog to Routing (VTR)

Open-source CAD flow that synthesizes, places, and routes Verilog designs onto FPGA architectures.

Desktopfree

VTR (Verilog to Routing) is an open-source CAD flow for FPGA architecture research and development. Given a Verilog circuit description and an FPGA architecture description, it runs synthesis, technology mapping, packing, placement, and routing, then reports speed and area results, with an included benchmark suite. It's used by researchers and engineers exploring or targeting FPGA architectures rather than commercial closed-source toolchains.
