unbg

Removes solid backgrounds from a matched image pair, preserving soft edges and partial transparency.

Webfreeglobal

unbg is a free tool that produces an accurate transparent PNG from a matched pair of images on different solid background colors, solving the compositing equation directly to preserve soft edges, glows and partial transparency that typical mask-guessing cutout tools lose as a hard outline. It is aimed at designers and creators working with AI-generated or edited images who need a clean, detailed cutout.
