Thesys

Local research workspace for searching papers, annotating PDFs, and exporting citations.

Webfreeglobal

Thesys is a self-hosted research workspace for searching open-access papers on OpenAlex and arXiv, uploading your own PDFs, and asking questions that are answered with on-page highlights linking back to the source text. Papers, embeddings, and chat history stay on the user's own disk, with local retrieval and an OpenAI-powered chat step. It's aimed at researchers and students who want citation-backed answers and easy citation export across their reading.
