Rootprint is an open-source, self-hosted log management platform that provides log and trace search backed by object storage (S3, MinIO, R2, GCS, or Azure Blob) instead of a hosted SaaS. It ingests via standard OpenTelemetry, Vector, or Fluent Bit pipelines and includes team access control with scoped API keys and OAuth. It suits engineering teams that want observability data to stay on infrastructure they control. The project is under active development and has not yet reached a 1.0 release.
