Renart is an open-source, local-first IDE for building and running data pipelines that live as plain files in a Git repository. It combines a visual pipeline canvas, pipeline-aware SQL and Python editing, data notebooks, and scheduling with run history in one native desktop application. It is aimed at data engineers who want pipeline work and review to stay in ordinary Git files rather than a separate platform, and is currently in public alpha.
