populate-movies

Scripts that build a normalised movie database from TMDB, IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes data.

Desktopfree

populate-movies is an open-source pipeline that assembles a normalised film database from TMDB and IMDb, optionally enriched with Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic and Letterboxd scores plus YouTube trailers, and writes it to Postgres through Prisma. It is aimed at developers who need a clean, refreshable movie dataset rather than making repeated live API calls, and all of its scripts can be re-run safely.
