The 2026 Pipelines Research Symposium brings together researchers, industry leaders, and utility professionals to explore pipeline engineering and management. The program features keynote insights from national research organizations and presentations on condition assessment, trenchless technologies, AI-driven pipeline solutions, pipeline integrity, rehabilitation strategies, and performance under challenging soil and climate conditions. Sessions cover topics such as model-based leakage detection, AI-driven asset management, sensor network optimization, explainable AI for pipe wall degradation, and probabilistic failure forecasting. A facilitated group discussion aims to shape future research priorities, standards, and partnerships. Organized by the UESI Younger Member Engagement Committee.
