PanicMode is a self-hosted, single-binary Rust tool for Linux servers that takes automatic action instead of only sending alerts: it freezes runaway processes so the broken state can be investigated, and it bans repeated SSH brute-force attackers via iptables. It monitors system resources and SSH auth failures, can take incident snapshots, and notifies over Telegram, Discord, ntfy, or email. It is aimed at solo operators and small teams running their own servers who want active defense without deploying a full SIEM stack.
