Omnisearch is a free plugin for the Obsidian note-taking app that adds fast, relevance-ranked full-text search across notes, PDFs, Office documents, and images. It uses the BM25 ranking algorithm so the most relevant result surfaces first, and can index PDF and image content with a companion plugin. It also offers an optional local HTTP server so other tools can query it from outside Obsidian.
