NeverIdle

Utility that periodically consumes CPU, memory, and network to keep a server from being flagged idle.

Desktopfree

NeverIdle is a configurable command-line utility that periodically consumes CPU, memory, and network resources on a server, most commonly to keep a cloud provider's always-free tier VM from being reclaimed for inactivity. It supports scheduled CPU and network activity with adjustable intervals and priority, and can run standalone or in Docker. Using it may conflict with a cloud provider's terms of service around artificial resource consumption.
