Median is an open-source flashcard app that imports study material from PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or text files and automatically generates flashcards from it, then schedules review using the Ebisu spaced-repetition algorithm. It also creates quizzes from a user's existing flashcards and tracks progress through a web dashboard. It's aimed at students who want their existing study documents turned into flashcards without manual card writing.
