Maestro

Maestro is a free, open-source, local-first coordination system for human and AI agent work, keeping durable work items, decisions, and evidence in a repository's own Git root with no background service. It defines explicit roles for a project's lead session and the AI agents dispatched to work under it, tracks claims through layered proof, and surfaces stalled or unreturned work through an attention command. It's for developers running multiple AI coding agent sessions who need a durable, git-native record of who owns what and what's actually been verified, rather than relying on memory or chat scrollback.
