Liyuan is a free, self-hosted AI character roleplay application built around an agent core that manages layered memory, agent-generated UI panels, and game-style save, branch, and rewind of full session state. It imports SillyTavern-compatible character cards, world books, and chat logs, and runs against any OpenAI-compatible API. It's aimed at people who already do AI character roleplay and want deeper memory and story-branching control than typical chat-based tools, self-hosted on their own machine.
