LiveRecall is an open-source alternative to Microsoft's Recall feature: it captures screenshots of the screen and lets users find them later using natural-language queries, combining semantic image search with OCR text extraction, saving only when screen content changes, running quietly in the system tray with a web interface for browsing a timeline and searching. All captured images are encrypted.
