Happy Balance is an open-source, self-hosted personal finance tracker positioned as a private alternative to Fintonic, Mint and YNAB, with zero telemetry and data kept on infrastructure the user controls. It supports CSV bank statement import, AI-assisted categorization, multi-currency tracking, and multi-user role-based access, deployed via Docker with a live demo available. The project is explicitly marked experimental and not yet production-ready.
