Guardian

Access-control layer for Plex Media Server — approve devices, cap streams, enforce rules

Webfree

Guardian is a free, open-source, self-hosted access-control layer for Plex Media Server that lets an admin approve or block specific devices, enforce per-user viewing schedules and IP rules, cap concurrent streams, and automatically stop sessions that break the rules. It's for Plex server admins who share access with family or friends and want granular control over who can watch, when, and from where, beyond Plex's own built-in sharing options. Self-hosted: requires running it alongside an existing Plex server via Docker.
