gofact is a self-hosted command-line tool that converts a print-ready HTML invoice into Factur-X: a compliant PDF/A-3 with EN 16931 XML embedded, built for French freelancers and small businesses ahead of the country's e-invoicing reform. It checks invoices against compliance rules before generating them and can optionally submit them to a French e-invoicing platform. It also runs as a local MCP server, so invoices can be created by asking an AI assistant directly.
