Gluetun is an open-source VPN client packaged as a small Docker container that connects to more than twenty commercial VPN providers over OpenVPN or WireGuard. It includes a kill switch, DNS over TLS with ad and malware blocking, and built-in Shadowsocks, SOCKS5 and HTTP proxies that other containers or LAN devices can use. It is aimed at self-hosters routing services through a VPN.
