GitStats is an open-source plugin for IntelliJ Platform IDEs that turns a project's git history into an author-level contribution report inside the IDE. It supports date-range, branch, author, and path filters, two calculation modes for quick or detailed ranking, and the ability to exclude generated or vendor paths, with results copyable or exportable as CSV. It reads only local repository history and is aimed at developers and teams reviewing contribution activity without leaving their IDE.
