Earl is a free, open-source CLI and MCP server that lets AI agents call external HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC services through human-written HCL templates rather than raw requests. The agent only ever sees a tool name and description, never the template body or secrets, which are pulled from the OS keychain at call time, closing off a common prompt-injection and secret-leakage path. It is aimed at developers building AI agents that need safe external API access.
