Deepfence SecretScanner

Standalone scanner that finds unprotected secrets in container images and filesystems.

Desktopfree

SecretScanner is an open-source tool from Deepfence that scans container images and host filesystems against a database of roughly 140 secret types to find hardcoded API keys, passwords, and tokens. It runs standalone via Docker or a prebuilt binary and outputs a JSON report, and is also embedded in Deepfence's larger ThreatMapper platform. It's aimed at DevSecOps and security teams checking for exposed secrets before deployment.
