Bookmarks But Better

New-tab bookmark dashboard, optionally stored as Markdown files you own.

Browser extensionfreeglobal

Bookmarks But Better is a free, open-source browser extension that replaces the new tab page with a dashboard of existing Chrome, Firefox or Safari bookmarks, with drag-and-drop organizing and no account or cloud required. An optional local daemon can instead keep bookmarks as Markdown files for Obsidian or git. It suits users who want their bookmarks visible and organized on every new tab with zero setup.
