Arbos is an open-source agent coordinator that keeps all of its state as plain files on disk — a project's .arbos/ folder holds every agent's inbox, transcripts, and notes — so anything that can read files can see and wake the agents, rather than that state being locked inside a proprietary tool. On top of that file-based kernel sits a Cursor-style desktop, full-duplex voice control, an iPhone app, and a mesh of coordinated workers. It's aimed at developers running multiple AI coding agents who want that coordination to be transparent and inspectable.
