Tools for managing pre-orders

The problem, in plain words: “I need a pre-order solution that only affects selected products and supports deposits and ship-by dates without taking over the sitewide buy button or breaking my theme.”

No tool in the catalog fully fits this yet.

Partly fits

FlexiLay Layby & Payment Schedulingpartial · 45

It’s aimed at ecommerce deposits/layby-style payments, but it doesn’t specifically describe product-level pre-orders with ship-by dates or preserving the existing Shopify buy button and theme.

Won’t cover: It supports deposit-style payment scheduling, but it isn’t presented as a selective pre-order system with ship-by date display that preserves your existing storefront buttons and theme.

It mentions tracking deposits for orders, but it’s positioned as a browser-based ordering workflow rather than a theme-safe, product-level pre-order option inside your existing store checkout.

Won’t cover: It’s designed to turn social demand into orders and includes deposit tracking, but it doesn’t clearly match your need for a theme-safe pre-order feature that only affects selected products inside your storefront buy button.
